We can pre-arrange all of these activities on your behalf, or if you would prefer to book them on arrival, our management team will be able to help. A vast list of activities are available to excite the most ardent adrenaline-seeker or alternatively for those desiring a more relaxing experience during their stay at Victoria Falls. For a better idea of what kind of activities are on offer please see our list below.
Victoria Falls is known as Africa's Adventure Capital, so understandably there is no shortage of adrenaline activities to keep you busy. From zip-lining across the gorge, taking a leap of faith with the bungee jump or the gorge swing or swimming in a rock pool above the falls, these action packed activities are sure to get your heart racing and the adrenaline flowing.
If you are looking at a more relaxing activity whilst in Victoria Falls, look no further than a river cruise. These cruises give guests the opportunity to unwind, whilst enjoying a cold drink or a delicious meal while drifting along the Zambezi River. With options of breakfast, lunch and dinner, or a sunset cruise, these are can't miss opportunities.
When in Africa, why not experience they way the local's do things. The Boma dinner is a great interactive dinner, and drum show experience, great for kids and adults. Guests are given the opportunity to try some local cuisine, and a variety of game meats, and for the more adventurous, Mopane Worms! If you want more insight into their way of living, try a village tour where you have the opportunity to meet the chief, and learn about their farming practices, cooking and daily tasks and duties.
Of course when visiting Victoria Falls, the first point of interest is the magnificent waterfalls. If you are wanting someone to guide you through the park, giving insight and knowledge of the surroundings, then a guided tour of the falls is for you. If traveling during full moon, you have the option of a lunar tour. If you are wanting a more thorough understanding of the area around Victoria Falls and the town, try a cycle tour, its also environmentally friendly and you may even see some wildlife! For some history, we recommend the Historical Bridge Tour.
For a complete Victoria Falls experience, why not try a birds eye view of the wonderful waterfalls. With options of a 12 minute flight, 22 minute flight or a 30 minute flight, you have the opportunity to see the full magnificence of the falls from the air, and even some of the national park. Microlight flights also operate over the falls from the Zambian side.
Located in a national park, Victoria Falls really has it all. For guests wanting to see as much wildlife and nature whilst in Africa, there is a lot to be done. From game drives or walking safaris in the Zambezi National Park, so birding along the river, or a Rhino experience at the Stanley and Livingstone game reserve, there is plenty to be seen. For a longer experience, try a full day Chobe trip in Botswana where elephants and wildlife are in abundance.
If you are also wanting some advice on what to do when you are around town, whether it be shops to see, local art and crafts markets to visit, sites to see, or cafés and restaurants to go to, we would happily make some recommendations.
